ARES OAuth Integration Guide

Welcome to the ARES OAuth Integration Guide. This document will walk you through the process of integrating ARES as an OAuth provider in your application. ARES uses the OAuth 2.0 protocolarrow-up-right to provide secure authorization for your users and secure access to our usage tracking APIs.

The entire process will take between 15 minutes to a few hours based on the complexity of your app/service.

Prerequisites

In order to add ARES as a log in option to your website and start accepting credits, you need to register your application (the Client) with us. Once your app is registered, you will receive a Client ID and Client Secret.
